In the fall of 2005 my wife and I began interviewing contractors to complete an addition on our home in the Village of Cornwall on Hudson. We had a set of plans that enlarged our home from a one thousand square foot home into a modern living space that could accommodate our growing family. The addition included a new kitchen and a master bedroom suite. Also included was updating and reconfiguring the existing structure to the architect's plans. After interviewing several contractors it became clear that Gene from SKB Group, Inc. was the person for the job. He looked in to the project and formulated a plan that allowed us to stay in our home as the addition was being built. He also had the foresight to see some of the issues that we may encounter during the build. It was an easy choice to go with Gene. SKB Group, Inc. began the addition on the projected date. His subcontractors were professional and prompt. All work was completed in a timely fashion and was of the highest standard. Last but not least, our project came in on budget.
